John Fryar, for prison breaking, 7 years to Newcastle. ...The Judge commented… and, upon the case of Fryar, he had been convicted of prison breach, of an aggravated nature, in all cases a serious and a very dangerous offence. The Judge then pronounced sentence of transportation on these prisoners. The Court then adjourned till Monday next, at ten o'clock. The whole of the prisoners who received sentence of transportation this afternoon at the Criminal Court, as well as those during the sessions, were embarked shortly afterwards on board the Midas, for their place of destination.
