Crown Court 13 prisoners were tried, nine of whom were capitally convicted, and received sentence of death, viz.— Henry Fuller, aged 53, for feloniously stealing at Wistham, a black Gelding, the property of Mr. Edward Copper. … The unhappy convicts were all reprieved before Judges left town. Sussex Advertiser, 28 March 1814.
