Goulburn, Colonial secretary’s Office, dated 14 Sept 1824 To His Honor Lieutenant-Governor Arthur, Van Diemen’s Land, I have the honour to acquaint you that Elizabeth Gahan per the Elizabeth (2) has permission to embark on the Ship Prince Regent for the purpose of joining her husband, Jacob Pistor, at Hobart Town. The said Ellen Gahan was tried at Dublin City, February 1818, and holds a Ticket of Leave, No 516/736.
