John Gamble was indicted for stealing a cow, the property of John Gourlay, at Donaghdoney, in Oct. last, Sufficient evidence having been produced of the theft, the prisoner acknowledged that he was guilty of stealing the cow, but did not know it was stolen. Guilty. Belfast Commercial Chronicle, 1 April 1826.
