He was a butcher when he & married Sarah (Papps/Papes) on 30 4 1810 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. He is recorded in 1816 with his wife. She was tried at probably Old Bailey on 18 9 1805, sentenced to 7years, held at London Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 18 6 1807 after a voyage of 5months on SYDNEY COVE; she was assigned to/employed by W (Palmer) until 1810. She was issued her Certificate of Freedom no.42/1186 on 25 9 1812. She is recorded in 1816 with her husband. She is recorded in 1820/21 as having left the colony; however she is also recorded as dying on 18 4 1822 age45 at Sydney & buried at St Phillips CofE Sydney.
