Mary is recorded in the 1825 Census: Bolton, Mary, free by servitude, Friends, 1811, 7 years, wife of Edward Gardner, Liverpool. However, Mary died in 1825 and is therefore not recorded in the 1828 Census. Edward and his small family is: Page 159.... [Ref G0170] Gardner, Edward, 38, convict, M. In the colony, around 1816, Edward married Mary Bolton (Convict, 1811, “Admiral Gambier and Friends”). The couple had three children, Henry 1818, Louisa 1820 and Edward 1822.
