Robert, son of John and Mary Garrard, is registered in the Wickham Skeith Parish Registers as having been baptised on 16 November 1788 which would indicate that his date of birth was before that date. To further complicate the issue, the family bible of Emma Garrad (Harvey) has handwritten notes indicating that his birthday as 25 December. There is also appears no option to correct his ship of transportation the Admiral Gambier (2) as indicated in Wendy Simes comments in 2019
