Robert Garrod, per Bangalore, F.S., tried at Richmond on 13 May 1871 for non maintenance and served 12 months, native Norfolk, 62 yrs, 5 feet 8 3/8 inches high, grey hair. Middle finger crooked on right hand. Tasmania Police Gazette, 24th May 1872, p87.
