6/7/1816: Sentenced to Newcastle for 14 years for Burglary. 7/8/1816: On list of prisoners sent to Newcastle per 'Lady Nelson". 3/8/1818: Married Catherine O'Neil (Francis & Eliza 1815) at Newcastle. No children listed. 6/10/1820: Newcastle - To be allowed to return to Sydney for his steady industry and good conduct in the construction of a windmill at Newcastle. 26/6/1830: COF 1886: James died at Parramatta aged 91. (Catherine died in 1844 aged 54.)
