Henry Gavin, Mary Gavin (husband and wife) were indicted for stealing a quantity of oil and other articles from Edmond Carroll, a carman. The husband Guilty, to be transported for 7 years; and the wife——-Not Guilty. Limerick Chronicle, 6 March 1833. The following convicts were transmitted to the hulk surprise at Cove, from our county gaol, on Monday morning last:— ...  Henry Gavin, and ... transported for seven years.— Limerick Paper.  Roscommon Journal, 17 May 1833.
