Leeds Mercury Yorkshire, England 29 Jul 1820 LEEDS, SATURDAY, JULY 29 Since our last the following prisoners have been committed to Wakefield- House of Correction Wm. Hardisty, of Leeds, cloth-adresser, John Spence, of Leeds, cloth-drawer, James Gavins, of Leeds, labourer, John Midgley, of Halifax, cloth-dresser, and Thomas Raistrick, of Yeadon, Cloth-maker, charged with breaking into the warehouse of Messrs. Buckton and Son, in Meadow-Lane on the night of the 18th instant, and stealing therefrom nine ends of woollen cloth, a quantity of shawls, a number of stuff pieces, and a woollen table cloth, the whole of which were found in Raistrick’s house at Yeadon.
