William, Margaret, and Ellen Guiry, were indicted for stealing a large quantity of bed clothes and wearing apparel, the property of John Keefe and Edmond Lonergan, of Clongegan, near Dungarvan, the Ist of February, Margaret was acquitted, and William and Ellen Guiry were convicted. The two latter were sentenced to transported for 7 years. Tipperary Free Press, 17 March 1832. -------------------------------------------------------------- WATERFORD SPRING ASSIZES. The following are. the convictions as our late assizes: COUNTY COURT. John Geary, pig-stealing — to be transported for seven years. - William Guiry, Ellen Guiry, Rodolphus Pahy, William Hamilton, and Richard Rielly, Larceny—to be transported for seven years. .., John Dogherty, James Ryan, Patrick Cormack, James Devine, Thomas Power, and Patrick Daniel, robbery, sentence of death recorded.
