George Bolton was charged along with Thomas Chandler with burglaring the dwelling of Joseph Catley, on 8/11/1817 and stealing some clothes and towels and pillowcases and one ring, value 5s. They were fount Guilty and sentenced to death. George was 24, and Thomas was 26. May 1842: George Bolton (or John) was assigned to Major Antill. May 1842: Stealing sheep under the favue of 5 pounds - to be worked in irons for 12 months. 1845: TOL Queanbeyan District.
