Theft: theft from a specified place. 12th August 1839 Verdict Guilty > unknown Sentence Transportation GEORGE COLBEN was indicted for stealing, on the 23rd of July, 6 forks, value 7l. 10s. and 6 spoons, value 4l. 15s. the goods of Paulus Emilius Pauli, in his dwelling-house. GUILTY . Aged 22.— Transported for Ten Years. George Colben was 21 years old on arrival - native place: London. George was illiterate, protestant, single, 5'8½" tall, sallow complexion, light brown hair, grey eyes, lost a front tooth on left side of upper jaw, slight scar on left cheek, mole on left side of chin, four moles inside right elbow joint. 1845: TOL 17/12/1851: COF
