Place of Birth: Wiltshire. 29/4/1819: George Rose, aged 50 years, convicted of felony on 6 Mar 1819 at Wiltshire Assizes, and sentenced to seven years transportation, was received on board the prison hulk Laurel from Fisherton. 15/3/1826: COF Possible Death: 27/12/1854: At Port Sorell, Tas., Cause of Death: Old age accelerated by exposure in the sun, aged 84 years. Listed ad D Rose (daddy written in pencil).

On Saturday evening Mr. Justice Holroyd arrived here, and opened the commission for holding the Lent Assizes for this county.- The business will be proceeded on this morning - Mr. Justice Holroyd will preside in the Crown Court, and Mr. Justice Best at Nisi Prius.- Eighteen venires are returned, one of which is a special Jury.
