Richard Gildea was listed as 25 years old on arrival.

Native Place: Mayo, Ire.

Transported with his brother John, also onboard, for the manslaughter of an old woman during a market riot.

Richard was literate, RC, 5’9½” tall, sallow complexion, red hair and whiskers, light blue eyes, flat nose, nose has been broken, freckled arms and face.

Married with 2 children, wife Ann.
Father: Richard
Mother: Bridget
3 brothers, 3 sisters.

9/4/1845: Died at Salt Water Creek Probation Station whilst under sentence.
