CRIMINAL COURT; LAUNCESTON. WEDNESDAY Richard Gill, and Joseph Horsefield, were put to the bar to take their trial for stealing a pair of trousers of the value of ten shillings, and one jacket of the same value, the property of one Peter Ware also several articles of wearing apparel belonging to one Mary ann Fielding, to the amount of two pounds, in the dwelling house of one Peter Ware, in February 1826. they were both found guilty and sentence of death passed on each of them the same day.
