Portsea.—The seven following were transported for 7 years: ... and Christian Gillett, for sundry felonies;  Reading Mercury, 4 Aug 1800. -------------------------------------------------------------- ESCAPED out of Winchester Gaol, about two o'clock on Tuesday morning, Sept. 7, CHRISTIAN GILLETT, aged 29, about five feet four inches high, black hair, cut close to the head front and long behind, black eyes, wide mouth with thick lips, flat nose, dark complexion, speaks quick and thick, has a wild look with her eyes, and frowns when speaking,  has affected lame with the rheumatism for two years. She a native of Poole, Dorsetshire, where she has a brother living. Had a  flannel waistcoat, linsey-woolsey gown, and brown petticoat. convicted at the Summer Assizes, 1800, of stealing watch at Portsmouth. - Whoever will apprehend above Christian Gillett, and lodge her in any his Majesty's gaols, shall receive Reward of FIVE GUINEAS, applying to John White, gaoler. Salisbury Journal, 20 Sept 1802.
