George Gillson was transported for Uttering a forged cheque for £300 with intent to defraud the Stamford and Spalding joint stock banking company. The cheque was made payable to Mr Paul Hume or the bearer, and was purported to be drawn by Lord Willoughby D'Eresby upon Messrs Peacock and Handley, bankers, of Bourne. George was from Morton/Edenham. 25/11/1833: George died on the voyage, he was 33.
