Departed Portsmouth, England on 29 July 1789, via Cape of Good Hope for Port Jackson, New South Wales, Australia on 3 June 1790. 1790 voyage carried 226 female passengers (convicts)- 5 of whom died on the trip. 6 children also on board. Significant because it was the first ship to bring all female women to the Colony.

Ann (Stimpson) is stated to be nee (Robinson) at her death. Richard Leveret (Mills) was recorded as a settler at Macquarie Plains in 1826 & a farmer at Bathurst in 1829 & 1830. Sophia (Langley) was born on 30 11 1802 in London or at sea on ROLLA & was baptised on 29 5 1803 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. She married firstly (1of3) Richard (Millage Ticket of Leave) on 23 5 1822 at Christ Church Castlereagh & PRODUCED PERHAPS 2CHILDREN. She left her husband & was with her second relationship (2of3) Thomas (Arkell his third relationship) by 1824 in Sydney & produced perhaps 2children. She is recorded in 1828 as housekeeper for Thomas (Arkell) at Bathurst with her children. She had a third relationship with George (Millan his first relationship)-whomshe may have married, & produced 1child.. She died on 18 2 1887 age84 mother of perhaps 4children at Hartley. George (Millan)-there is no record of him being a servant nor being married to Sophia (Langley); & he did not marry Mary Ann (Robinson. He was recorded though as a mariner in December 1830. Elizabeth (Langley) was baptised w/cousins Harriet & Richard Langley (Mills) Extension for (Langley) family: ARKELL Thomas (Arkell) was born about 1773 in Gloucesteshire & baptised on 28 6 1776 age about2. He married firstly (1of3) Ann (???) in UK. He arrived in NSW free as a settler with his wife on 2 1 1804 on EXPERIMENT (this Website shows the EXPERIMENT arriving in NSW on 7 5 1804 (leaving UK on 31 10 1803) & 12 6 1804 (leaving UK on 2 1 1804)). He was Superintendent/Principal Overseer of Government Stock at Rooty Hill from 1813 & in Bathurst about 1820 to 1821 when he resigned.>>> Ann (???/Arkell) was born about 1780. She married firstly (1of3) William (Plowright) in 1798 & produced 4children (who did not travel to Australia). She was tried for theft, in March 1808, of silk handkerchiefs etc of William (Swift) at Nottingham Town Assizes Nottinghamshire on 4 8 1808, sentenced to 7years, held at Town Gaol & arrived in NSW as a convict on 18 8 1809 after a voyage of 6.5months on INDISPENSIBLE. In 1811 she was a servant for David (Bevan). She was issued her Ticket of Leave no.11/150 in 1812 & her Absolute Pardon no.176 on 29 2 1812. She had a second (2of3) relationship with James (Ball his first relationship). She is recorded in 1814 with her child off stores in Sydney. In 1816 she was licenced as Publican in Sydney & was operating the Speed The Plough Inn in Sydney on 19 4 1817. . She seems to have shared the operation of the Inn with her husband until they separated on 21 6 1821 & both disclaimed the debts of the other in their settlement; she claimed to have owned assets of >4,000lbs. The Inn was the Nottingham New Inn, possibly rename of the former Inn, at 39 Pitt St Sydney, of which she had sole ownership in 1824. He became a carpenter farmer & lived at Fish River. In 1846 he applied for 640acres on Jerrys Meadows but was advised that 640acres in Parish of Kendale was put up as an occupation licence in his name. In 1850 he purchased 40acres on solitary creek, in 1854 30acres on Jerrys Mount & in 1855 100acres at Crown View. MARY GITTOS was indicted for feloniously breaking and entering the dwelling-house of Abraham Robinson , between the hours of three and four in the afternoon of the 20th of August , and stealing therein, two white linen aprons, value 1 s. 6 d. a check apron, value 12 d. a brown camblet gown, value 3 s. two coloured linen handkerchiefs, value 2 s. a shift, value 3 s. a stuff gown, value 3 s. a linen bed-gown, value 3 s. a stuff petticoat, value 3 s. and twenty-four halfpence , the property of Elizabeth Griffin . ELIZABETH GRIFFIN sworn. I live in the house of Abe Robinson, in St. John's, Westminster ; I lost the things mentioned in the indictment on the 20th of August last; I left them in my apartment about half after three in the afternoon; my room-door was broke open and my box was broke open, and these things found on the back of the prisoner; I came home about a quarter after eight at night, on the 19th; a neighbour came to ask me if I would let the prisoner sleep with me all night; I said I would not, but my neighbour let her be in her apartment; I had not missed any of my things at that time; the next morning I went out about eleven, and locked my room-door and box, the things were there then; about half after three I was informed my room-door was open; I came home directly and missed my things, my room-door was broke open, and the staple was broke out. MARGARET ELLIS sworn. I am neighbour to Mrs. Griffin; I went out with her about eleven on the 20th of August, and on my return, about three, her door was open, and I went to let her know the prisoner was not there; my room was open. JOHN TAYLOR sworn. I am a constable. (Produces the things which the prosecutor took off the prisoner's back, and valued at one guinea.) PRISONER's DEFENCE. These things were given to me. Court to Jury. As this indictment is laid, it is not a capital offence, for it does not say whether any person was in the house or not. Guilty of stealing the things . Transported for seven years . Tried by the first Middlesex Jury before Mr. BARON HOTHAM .
