Family connections for Susannah (Gleaves) are: GLEAVES Susannah (Doherty/Gleaves/Glaves/Greaves) was born daughter of L J (Doherty) about 1793. She married firstly (1of3) Peter (Gleave/s) in June 1807 at Liverpool Lancashire. She was tried for theft at Lancaster Quarter Sessions on 24 7 1809, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 8 9 1810 after a voyage of 6months on CANADA; she was Protestant. She had a second (2of3) relationship with George (Davis).>>> [Some details taken from this Website] George (Davis)s)s identity is not found Susannah (-/Greaves) & George (Davis) produced 3children: 1.George (Davis) was born 18 11 1811 & baptised on 19 4 1812 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. He died on 15 9 1822 age10 at Windsor & was buried at St Matthews CofE Windsor. 2.Christopher (Davis) was born in 1814. He died on 3 6 1894 age abouy79. 3.Susannah (Davis) was born on 7 5 1818. She was an emancipist when she married thirdly Thomas (Fletcher) with permission on 4 3 1822 at St Lukes CofE Liverpool & was recorded in this year as Free by Servitude wife of T (Fletcher)-they produced 4children. She was recorded in 1828 with her family at Macquarie Field Lower Minto She was Found dead on 25 12 1827 in waterhole at Avisford near Mudgee; she was mother of 7children-mostly boys. Thomas (Fletcher) was born about 1799 & became a general labourer. He was tried for stealing a cow of Thomas (Cooper) at Litchfield city Staffordhire on 29 7 1817, sentenced to death-with perhaps recommendation to Life-commuted to 14years, held at Litchfield City gaol delivery & hulk JUSTITIA at Woolwich London from 12 9 1817 & arrived in NSW as a convict on 5 4 1818 after a voyage of 6months on BATAVIA; he was Protestant. He was forwarded to Windsor for distribution. He was recorded in 1822 as husband of Susannah (Gleaves). On 24 7 1824 he was assigned to his wife at Liverpool. He was recorded in 1825 as labourer at Minto. He was recorded in 1828 with his family as labouring tenant at Macquarie Field Lower Minto with 20acres He was recorded as a jockey when issued with his Ticket of Leave no.28/577 on 26 12 1828. He was recorded as a labourer in May 1831 & was issurd his Certificate of Freedom no.796 on 3 8 1831. NSW 1828 Census index. Thomas Fletcher, age 29, G.S. Batavia, 1818, 14 yrs, protestant, Labouring Tenant, Macquarie Field, Lower Minto. Has 20 acres of land, all cleared and 18 acres cultivated. Has 4 head of cattle. Susan Fletcher, age 30 F.S. Canada 2, 1810, 7 years, protestant. Frederick Fletcher aged 8, B.C. John Fletcher, aged 3, BC.

Susannah maiden name was DOHERTY. Susannah married a Peter GLEAVE(S) in June 1807 in Liverpool (Lancashire, England). In 1822 Susannah married a fellow convict; Thomas Fletcher (who arrived on "Batavia" in 1817).
