Samuel Gledhill was 26 years old, a native of Lancashire. He was married with 2 sons, had 1 prior conviction, ruddy complexion, light hair, grey eyes, cast inward in left eye. 1842: TOL Patrick Plains. 1832: TOL Parramatta 11/1/1845: COF 11/2/1846: Sydney Morning Herald: James Lane who was employed as a shepherd in the district of Liverpool Plains, discharged a gun loaded with shot, and fired at a fellow servant named Samuel Gledhill who subsequently died. A reward of £20 or a conditional pardon was offered for information or the capture of James Lane, who had absconded.
