On Thursday arrived from Calcutta, via Derwent, the ship Mary, Captain Ormon, with a various cargo. -Passengers from Calcutta, Captain Faithfull and Lieutenant Hamilton:-The Mary sailed from Calcutta the 23d of February, and left the Pilot the 1st of March. The records show ONE CHILD HERE. That child was SARAH, who was placed by Bridget in the Orphan School in Hobart, Tasmania on 14.2.1834, Number 2078. Discharged from the school 12.9.1846. Sarah married 2.1.1854 to George Hodge in New Norfolk, Tasmania. RGD37/1/13 No 1222.They are my GGG Parents. Bridget died stated age 28, Launceston Hospital, Tasmania 17.9.1835. No 4195 of 1835.
