Andrew Goggan was 22 years old and was court martialled in Bangalore General Court Martial, India. Andrew was Born in Letterkenny Town near Donegal County and was a Soldier in the Horse Artillery. Andrew was single. 24/4/1841: Inquest: Andrew Goggin a transported Soldier attached to the gang on Cockatoo Island, who met his death on 24/4/1841 whilst bathing about 12 yards from the shore, by having the fleshy part of his thigh completely torn away by a shark. He died within 2 minutes of being brought to the shore.
