The Court then proceeded with the trials of criminals :— James Gonner, a little child of 10 years of age, with stealing 7 sovereigns and a five pound note Mr. Perkins, of Greenwich,   to which ... Although so young, he had been imprisoned on a former occasion, and was sentenced to to life. Maidstone Journal, 7 Aug 1832.  Gonner, James, alias James Tober, on sus.. from the dwelling-house of Win. Perkins, aba sovs. and a £5 Bank of England note, his property—Transported for life. Maidstone Journal, 7 Aug 1832. --------------------------------------------------------- The undermentioned convicts were, on Saturday se’ennight, removed from the county gaol and put board the hulks as follows Euryalus hulk at Chatham. —James Conner, alias Taber, for life —John Brown, and John Watts, transported for 7 years.
