Northampton Mercury 27 February 1819 records in the cases heard at the Assizes: 'Isaac Goode, Thomas Goode, William Walton, Thomas Bunning the elder, William Bunning the younger, for breaking open the dwelling house of William Sculthorp, of Middleton, and stealing therefrom 100 pounds and upwards, his property'. Sentences reported 6 March 1819 - only Thomas Goode & William Walton were found guilty, & sentenced to life transportation.
