Robert McMahon, for bigamy, Augustine Fitzgerald, for sheep-stealing, James McManus, for cow stealing, and John Galvin and Jerry Sullivan, for larceny, all to be transported for seven years. John and Michael Downs, and James Mangan, for manslaughter, to be transported for seven years. John Gorman, for the murder of James O’ Donnell at a hurling match; guilty of manslaughter, like sentence. Limerick Chronicle, 10 March 1827.
