Family connections for Mary (Gorman) are: Some amendments made Jun 2025. GORMAN Mary (Gorman) was tried at probably Old Bailey, sentenced to Life, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 9 7 1791 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship ALBEMARLE. She married firstly William (Howell) on 4 1 1792 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. She was Free by Servitude by 1804. She had a second relationship with John (Brown his first relationship). She produced 1known child in her lifetime. [Some details taken from this Website] William (Howell) was born about 1769. He was tried for grand larceny, stealing a sack of mail, at Old Bailey on 23 5 1787, sentenced to 7years, held at London Gaol Delivery Newgate & hulk JUSTITIA & arrived in NSW as a convict on 26 6 1790 after a voyage of 13months on Fleet ship NEPTUNE. He was recorded in June 1799 at Kissing Point when his house was burgled. He was recorded in 1806 as crew on sailing vessel of Henry (Kable) in Bass Strait. He may have died on 23 2 1816 in Sydney-making him age about47.
