APPLICATION FOR PERMISSION TO MARRY: 30 Nov 1830 - Furniss GRAFF (per 'Coromandel') to marry Susannah THOMPSON (free person). Approved. (ref. Tas Archives Con 45/1/1) Note: Susannah may have been a free person in the Colony or free by servitude after serving a convict sentence. MARRIAGE: 17 Feb 1831 at Hobart - Furniss GRAFF, bachelor, Ticket of Leave status, per 'Coromandel' transport ship to Susannah THOMSON, spinster. (ref. Tas Archives 36/1/2 no. 1566) DEATH: Record for Ernest GRAFF, died 9 Aug 1851 at Hobart Town, cause - liver disease. Aged 51 yrs. Shoemaker. (ref. 35/1/3 no. 873) REMARRIAGE OF WIFE: Susannah GRAFF to Simon FRASER at Hobart on 6 April 1852. (ref. 37/1/11 no. 757)

Furness Graff was convicted at London 1814 and given a Life Sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the Coromandel arriving 1820. Assignments in Colony. Conditional Pardon no. 837 29 Feb 1836. Free Certificate no. 384 Nov 1838.
