At the General Quarter Sessions for the County of Westmorland, held at Appleby on Monday the 14th inst., Charles Graham, an inhabitant of Appleby, and a most notorious light-handed character, was found guilty of Grand Larceny, for which he was sentenced to be transported beyond seas for  the term of seven years. Carlisle Patriot, 19 Oct 1816.
