Tried: Edinburgh, 9 Nov 1824, Transportation – Life; Per Princess Charlotte, 27 March 1827, New South Wales. --------------------------------------------------------- HIGH COURT OF JUSTICIARY, Nov. 9. Mary Graham, or Fraser, was placed at the bar, accused of stealing from the house of Ralph Wilson, tailor. Little Jack's Close, Cannongate, on the 30th of June last, quantity of linen apparel, and of being habit and repute a thief. She pled Guilty; and, after a suitable admonition, sentence of transportation for life was passed upon her, the Lord Advocate having departed from the capital charge. Fife Herald, 18 Nov 1824.
