Thompson GRAHAM was convicted at Cumberland on 22 June 1836 for stealing chickens. 7 yr transportation sentence. Gaol Report: "orderly". Hulk Report: "bad, punished". Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship 'Neptune' arriving 19 Jan 1838. Single man. VDL: Assigned to work service. Some notes of minor misconduct. Free Certificate No. 574 in 1843. Death: Thompson GRAHAM died, at Westbury, Tasmania, 4 Feb 1857. Cause - tetanus. Aged 50 yrs; labourer. (ref. 35/1/26 no. 782)
