DORCHESTER, March 19.—Our Assizes terminated Monday morning last ; … Dorchester, there were prisoners on the calendar, whom the following received the sentence of death :— … James Grant, for  breaking open the house of Charles and stealing pocket-book, silver to the amount of between two and three pounds; all of whom were, however, reprieved before the judge left town, except George Barratt, who remains for execution.   Hampshire Chronicle, 22 March 1819
