Family connections for William (Greentree) are: GREENTREE ??? (Greentree) & ??? (???) may have had 2children: 1.Henry (Greentree) was born in 1781 at Westborne Sussex & became a sawyer. He married Jane (Pope her first marriage) in 1807 in Sussex & prouced 6children. He was tried w/1other (his brother?) for stealing sheep at Southampton Assizes, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 27 1 1815 after a voyage of 5months on MARQUIS OF WELLINGTON. He died on 6 4 1818 age37 at Wilberforce & was buried at St Matthews CofE Windsor ..[Some details taken from this Website] ..Jane (Pope) arrived in NSW with the children on 18 6 1815 after a voyage of 6months on NORTHAMPTON. She married secondly Michael (Nowland) in 1846. .. 2.William (Greentree) was born about 1783. He was tried w/1other (his brother?) for stealing sheep at Southampton Assizes, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 27 1 1815 after a voyage of 5months on MARQUIS OF WELLINGTON. He was an emancipist by 1829 & married Mary Anne (Callow her second marriage) on 14 9 1829 with consent from the Governor at St Johns CofE Wilberforce. He became a farmer & was issued his Conditional Pardon on 23 9 1834. He died at McGraths Hill Hawkesbury & was buried at St Matthews CofE Windsor; however, another credible death record is on 5 12 1855 at hospital at Port Macquarie Penal Settlement (inferred age75). ..[Some details taken from this Website] ..Mary (Callow/Carlow alias Barker) was born about 1804. She was tried for stealing, in company with another, linen from Robert (Murrell) & printed cotton etc of Elizabeth (Davnes) of St Georges of Tombland at Norwich Assizes Norfolk, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 5 10 1823 after a voyage of 4months on MARY. She had had a first relationship in NSW with George (Busby).
