Spent 2 1/2 years on the Town. 1849 - Birth of child ” FRANCES GRAY' Born on the 4 February and Baptised on the 14 February 1849 in the Female House of Correction. 1850 - 27 February 1850. Free Certificate 1856 - Approximately. Martha lived with Robert Green a blind man. Robert Green and Francis would go out begging. 1860 - 24 December 1860. Martha was admitted to H. M. G. Hospital/ 1861 - 24 December 1861. Died in the Hospital 1861 - March 1861. Application for admission of Fanny Gray to the Queen's Orphan School. Fanny was aged 11 years and 6 months. Father; Joseph Root. Joseph left the Colony 5 years previously. His occupation was a cabinet maker. Mother; Martha Gray. Martha died 25 January 1861. Arrived in the Colony per Woodbridge.
