Abraham Gridley was convicted of stealing two lambs from a field in Gt.Waldingfield. Transportation for life. Abraham was listed as being 38 years old on arrival and born C1795 but he was listed as being 80 when he died in 1868 so birth date is closer to 1788. Abraham was 5'4 1/2" tall, brown hair, light grey eyes, swarthy complexion, flesh mole on left arm. He was married to Rachel with 7/8 children all at his native place of Waddenham, Suffolk. 3/12/1839: Was a constable. 10/4/1840: TOL 12/8/1868: Abraham died at Port Arthur aged 80.
