Prisoner convicted at the Supreme Court-Hobart Town. Edward Griffiths, per Samuel Boddington, F.S. Offence Unlawfully wounding, sentence-12 months. Tasmania Police Gazette, 10th Feb 1871, p29. Prisoner discharged from H M Gaols, Hobart & Launceston, week ending 7 Feb 1872 and 3 Feb 1872. Edward Griffiths, per Samuel Boddington, F.S., tried at Hobart, on 7 Feb 1871, for maliciously wounding, received 12 months, native place is Staffordshire, age 63 yrs, 5 feet 8 1/2 inches high, dark brown Londonderry, D. ? E. and anchor back left hand. Tasmania Police Gazette, 9th Feb 1872, p23.
