Tasmanian Conduct Report- original conviction -20 March 1832, at Hereford Asizes, for stealing timber. Gaol report - convicted before, Bad character. He stated he had been jailed once before for two months, for a similar offence. Single. Last entry, dated 27th Nov 1838, "Drunk and in possession of a bag under suspicious circumstances - discharged." Civil Registration, Tasmania.
