James Guillogly, Tried Worcester (City) Assizes, 10 April 1809, Life. ---------------------------------------------------------------- On Monday morning, the business of the Assize for the county of Worcester commenced, when the undermentioned prisoners were severally tried and sentenced, viz. ... and James Guillogly, for robbing and wounding John Taylor, in the corn market, In Worcester, were were all found guilty, and received sentence of death. Brown was reprieved before the Judges left Worcester ; the others are left for execution. Aris’s Birmingham Gazette, 10 Apr 1809.
