Many discrepancies on the age of this man. Tried on the same date as Sarah Guy (Angelina 1844) but his details state that his wife died 2½ years previous???? and he had no children. Also received his COF 15 months after he died?? Henry Guy was listed as 26 years old on arrival in VDL. Native Place: Liverpool, Lancashire. Father: John Mother: Mary Brother: John -- at native place. Henry was 5'9¾" tall, literate, widowed - wife died 2½" years ago, no children. TOL on arrival. Henry Guy was the 2nd husband of my Gt x3 Grand - mother Sarah Guy and stepfather of Mary Ann & Catherine Gallagher/Guy.Henry's circumstances after July 1848 arrv. of 'Bangalore' at VDL are unknown,but may be same Henry who died Hobart on 06 Sep 1852 of dysentery aged 46yrs (unverified).
