1835 Muster: Assigned to Mr Wedge 3/2/1843: Had TOL 16/8/1845: Recommended for a CP for Australia (which meant he could leave Tasmania) 22/1/1845: Married Mary Hollings (Emma Eugenia)at the Parish Church, Perth, Tasmania. Mary was 27 and Thomas 34. 21/2/1845: Child Mary Hadden born in Launceston. 6/10/1848: Passenger per 'Raven' Launceston to Port Phillip. Mary and child not listed on passenger list.

Huntingdon Town Gaol Keeper's Journal (Archive Ref: HCP/2/320/1) 12/10/1833 - Thomas was imprisoned for stealing divers notes or bills; gold & silver coin from the dwelling house of James Sykes in Yaxley approx. value of £23. He was sentenced at the Lent Assizes on 10/03/1834 to Transportation for Life. He didn't get into any trouble whilst in gaol. He was released prior to transferring to the Leviathan Hulk moored at Portsmouth on 29/04/1834. Thomas had Brown hair & Light Blue eyes. The little finger of his left hand was crooked. The Surgeon's journal said his behaviour was Very Good during the voyage. He was 23 years old & single on arrival.
