Catherine was 43 years old when convicted of stealing 2 aprons, 1 shovel, 1 pair of tongs, 1 poker, 2 ounces of tea, 1 canister and 3s., value a total of 8s., the property of Thomas Burn. Catherine was a widow and was receiving 1s., per week, from the parish refief. Mrs. Burn took her in because it was cold and let her rest by the fire, and she then stole the goods. Catherine's conduct record was mostly for being drunk and disobedient. June 1832: Catherine died at Campbell Town. 13/6/1832: Date of Inquest.
