Ann Hagan was indicted for stealing from James McGiveran £49 in bank notes, at Monaghan, on 26th Jan. last; and John and Eleanor M‘Laughlin, for receiving the same, knowing it to have been M‘Laughlin, and Guilty against Ann Hagan and acquitting Eleanor, his wife. The Jury recommended M‘Laughlin on account of the honest character he bore in the town. Enniskillen Chronicle, 15 March 1832.
