6729. John William Hagan, tried at Antrim, 12 April 1842, 7 years. Age 15, height 4ft 8 ¾, catholic, can read, single. Offence: Stealing 35/- p.a woman at market at Lisbourne. Once for iron, 3 months; handkerchief for 6 months. Surgeon’s report: Highly recommended, Good. Trade, Labourer. Native place, Belfast. Remarks: 3S, Elizabeth, Catherine, Mary Jane.
