Margaret Hall was tried at Old Bailey, London on 4 December 1782 for stealing jewellery and cash with a value of 845 shillings.
She was sentenced to transportation for 7 years having been originally sentenced to death, and left England on the Friendship aged about 22 at that time (May 1787). She died in 1807
The victim had “agreed to go to bed with her” being “rather too much in liquor”.Guilty of return from transport following the Mercury mutiny.Married Peter Williams on 13 February 1788 but were no longer together by 1791.
