CITY LIMERICK ASSIZES. The following presents a list of the several trials held at these Assizes, which ended on Wednesday :— TO BE HANGED. John Halpin, James Rourke and Thomas Cagney, for attacking the house of, and robbing David Keane, of Raheen. Limerick Chronicle, 24 March 1827. The City Sheiffs reccived an order from the Lord Licutenant, on Thursday, to stay the execution of John Halpin, James Rorke, and Thomas Cagney, convicted at last Assizes, of attacking and robbing the house of David Kane, at Raheen Limerick Chronicle, 31 March 1827.
