(Bigge) in Sydney. She is recorded in 1828 as servant at factory Parramatta. She was gaoled in 1838 at Windsor. In 1840 she & her husband were recognised as continually drunk & failed in a court prosecution at Windsor Quarter Sessions. Before 1842 her husband had cut her from his Will due to her drunkenness. Transported with his father Robert Halton from Yorkshire for stealing three bushels of oats and some wheat. After arrival they are both listed as Horton. David became a farmer in Pitt Town, Sydney. Robert died in 1811. David married three times, all to convict women, Elizabeth Helmsley, Elizabeth Smith (transported Speedy in 1800) and Catherine Kelly. He had a number of children.
