Belfast Quarter Sessions, John Kelly and James Hamilton, for stealing a sheet, on the 15lh of June, the property of Matthew Black. Both guilty. Had been convicted several times. Seven years’ transportation. Belfast Commercial Chronicle, 6 July 1842. John Kelly and James Hamilton (two notorious young scoundrels), for stealing a sheet, the property of Mr. Matthew Black, near Belfast, on the 13tb June last. Both guilty; each to be transported for seven years. Northern Whig, 5 July 1842.
