Medical Journal of the Bencoolen 1819: Peter Hand; disease or hurt, slight pyrexia, accompanied with constipation. Taken ill, 24 June. Peter Hand was 45 years old on arrival - he had been transferred to VDL on 16/9/1819 per 'Admiral Cockburn' - no crime found. 17/91819: COF 18/11/1831: Drunk - fined 5/- April 1841: Admitted to New Norfolk Colonial Hospital with bronchitis. No date of death found.




Peter HAND was convicted August 1818 and received a 7yr transportation sentence. Sent to New South Wales, Australia per the 'Bencoolen' 1819 then transferred to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Admiral Cockburn'. Ticket of Leave granted.
