1829 - Waterloo's first voyage arrived at Sydney Cove 9 July 1829. 180 Male Convicts. 2 Died on voyage. 7 sent to the hospital on landing. Total mustered; 171. Stephen Addison - Commander Michael Goodsire - Surgeon Superintendent [His wife was a passenger] 1842 - The Waterloo voyage of 1842 was wrecked on 28/8/1842. 189 people drowned, these being 143 convicts, 15 men of the 99th Regiment, together with 17 wives and children, the boatswain Mr. Chiverton, the sailmaker, the carpenter and 11 of the crew. Convicts were then received in Cape Town Prison from the wreck of the Waterloo, 2nd September 1842. They then completed their voyage to VDL per “Cape Packet” which arrived on 23/11/1842.

Committed to the County Gaol, —By the Rev, T. Dudley, Dec. 8,  Thomas Handford, Thomas Langdale, and William Freer, charged with housebreaking; Leicestershire Mercury, 17 Dec 1836. Epiphany Quarter Sessions.  THOMAS HANDFORD, 3.3, THOMAS LANGDALE, 28, and WILLIAM FREER, 28. charged with breaking open the dwelling-house of John Pare, Swannington Common, on the of December, and stealing on the ? of December, and stealing a quantity of wearing apparel and other articles. Leicestershire Mercury, 7 Jan 1837.  County Gaol. — The following convicts have been removed for Woolwich : — William Hexrall, for life; William Freer, Thomas Langdale, and Thomas Handford, each 14 years ; and John Young, for 7 years. Leicester Chronicle, 18 Feb 1837.
